Kerbside Recycling

Most households in Lincoln now have access to the kerbside recycling collections. Don't forget that you can put paper, cans and textiles in your black recycling box for collection every week with your normal rubbish. You can also recycle your plastics using this box.

Follow these simple steps:-

  • Rinse out your cans and bottles
  • Take the labels off
  • Put the paper, cans, textiles and plastics in your black box
  • Put the black box out at the kerbside with your refuse sack
  • Collect your box after it has been emptied and fill up your box for the next week
 

Freecycling

You can also register on the Lincoln freecyclers site where you can recycle or rehome surplus or unwanted items. Everything offered is free. Anyone over the age of 16 can join and membership is also free.  To findout more go to www.lincolnfreecyclers.org.uk
