Farmers' markets are where local farmers and producers bring their produce for sale direct to the public. This means that the food miles (distance the food has to travel) is greatly reduced compared to supermarket produce. There are four regular farmers' markets held in Lincoln each month providing fresh, nutritional, local foods of the highest quality.
